There’s something for everyone at this year’s Royal Easter Show, from 24 to 29 March at the Auckland Showgrounds. Exciting new attractions for 2005 combine with traditional favourites, to provide entertainment for all ages and interests.
All shows & attractions, (excluding the carnival rides), are included in the entry price and are FREE once your inside the gate – and you can go as many times as you like in one day.
The Logan Campbell Centre will host exciting new entertainment for 2005 including The Shrek 2 live stage show, appealing to all ages, featuring Shrek, Red Riding Hood, Donkey and Puss’n Boots, and the Cartoon Network’s ‘Powerpuff Girls’ – Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup will be showing off their unique blend of sugar, spice and everything nice.
The Weber Brothers Circus will be returning with a new show exclusive to the Royal Easter Show with an Easter theme – Circus Eggstreme.
All the show’s traditional favourites are back including the carnival rides, street entertainers, Farmworld with its stables and petting pens and the A&P competitions which include; shearing, dressage, show jumping, highland dancing, dog trials, equestrian and the Cat Show.
Add to that the Royal Easter Show Art Awards with hundreds of artworks on show and for sale, displays of award winning wines from the Royal Easter Show Wine awards and the Cadbury Great Bunny Show, and you have a winning holiday attraction for young and old alike.
Entry is only $30 for a family five, $15 an adult, $5 a child and free for under-2 yrs, which represents good value family entertainment. All shows and attractions, excluding the carnival rides, are included in the entry price.
