About Miss Earth
The Miss Earth Pageant aims to raise awareness and responsible use of our environment and natural resources.
Thus Miss Earth New Zealand Pageant aims to -
“Raise the awareness of environmental issues not only around the world
but also those within New Zealand. And to furthermore, develop young
leaders skills that help build, protect, and sustain New Zealand’s
wildlife and eco-system”.
Miss
Earth pageant has an environmental cause, it is primarily looking for
young women who will stand for the protection and preservation of the
planet. On a national level, Miss Earth New Zealand is carried out to
assure that each of the participating candidates are not just physically
beautiful, but environmentally knowledgeable. The winner of MISS EARTH
NEW ZEALAND 2015 will represent NEW ZEALAND at MISS EARTH 2015. The
winner of MISS EARTH will serve as the Ambassador to environmental
protection campaigns worldwide.
