Cancel your therapist, crack a smile and get out and revel in the diverse range of comedy on offer in the NZ International Comedy Festival and The Comedy Gala.

Auckland City is a major funder of the comedy festival, and we have supported it annually since it began 13 years ago at the Watershed Theatre.

The festival has grown into a major event on the entertainment calendar, and it is great to see it continuing to attract leading international comedians and developing our New Zealand creative talents.

The festival featured over 250 local and international stars in 2006.
