Lotus root, hiding under water,

Supporting lotus above the surface.

In the shade of lotus, away from the hot summer sun,

Mr. Frog happily croaks and croaks.

He turns to loach, loach flipping its tail,

He turns to crab, crab waving its claws.

He looks round and round, wondering:

Who is the good guy, kind and silent?

萤火虫
 
萤火虫，提灯飞，
去听青蛙演唱会。
见到迷路小蚂蚁，
照着蚂蚁回洞内；
见到迷路小螳螂，
照着螳螂把家回……
赶到会场已散场，
但它一点不后悔。
 
A Firefly

A firefly, glowingly flew in the forest,

On his way to a frog concert.

Met with a lost ant on the road,

He helped to light its way home.

Met with a lost mantis on the road,

He helped to light its way home.

The concert was over when he got to the site,

But he did not in the least regret.

Naughty Wind

Naughty wind, naughty wind,

Blew my waste paper all around.

I picked up the scattered sheets from ground,

And returned them to a wastebasket.

Naughty wind, never mind,

I can surely make you delighted.

Come and play by the window side,

My windbell is good for you indeed.

Blow Bubbles

A little child is blowing bubbles a lot,

Bubbles flying all around and about.

Flying into the fruitful orchard,

They turn into big grapes.

Flying into the sky high and vast,

They turn into twinkling stars.

Flying over the busy street,

They are looking for the blind.

May they turn into bright eyes,
