美夢終得成
盤曲似巨龍
“不到長城非好漢”

登上八達嶺
心曠神怡頭腦醒
傲視生悲吟
血肉築萬里
傷財勞民艱辛歷
鬼神泣天地
明朝十三陵
窮奢極侈傷民情
只為埋帝靈
天安門廣場
綵旗飄蕩满目新
雄壯軍樂揚
人民大會堂
遊客如鯽萬頭動
祖國歌聲昂
故宮博物院
珍貴奇聞為君獻
飽覽嚐心願
王府井街頭
市容繁榮百業茂
商家忙應酬
餉午遊天壇
古松扶疏綠蔭廊
回音壁堪讚

I Visited Beijing – Lin Shuang
Wanting to climb the Great
Wall
I paid a visit to Beijing
this fall
Then my dream comes true
after all
It looks like a gigantic
winding dragon
Mao Ze Dong said
“ All Chinese should climb
the Great Wall once in their lifetime”
Landing at the Badaling
Happily I rode along the
sliding-floor
Admiring the great scene
The ten thousand Li long
Great Wall
Was built with the labour of
millions
It constructed through aeons
and cost tremendously
The immense Ming Tombs were
built
Only to bury the Dynasty’s
Emperor
At immeasurable cost to the
treasury and society.
In front of Tiananmen Square
There were colourful flags
and military songs
Greeting visitors from
everywhere
Thousands of people visited
the Great Hall of the People
Listening to the National
Anthem
Being sung with pride
Inside the National Museum -
Gugong
Many valuable objects are
being displayed
And visitors enjoy the
exhibits
Walking along Wan Fu Jing
Street
I saw a hive of activity and
business were set
And merchants run off their
feet
Finally I visited Tian Tan
in the afternoon
I traversed a row of green
pines, which are like an emerald corridor
To my favourite place, the
Echo Wall
