《国家商业评论》出版商Todd Scott说,奥克兰中央商务区阿尔伯特街的Woolworths Metro 的一名男子似乎试图拿走一箱酒,并恐吓员工。

“I took a running tackle, because he was a big unit,” Scott said.

《犯罪法》规定,任何人都可以逮捕对犯罪最高刑罚至少为三年的人。该规则也可以适用于“夜间”发生的事件。
该法案下的适用罪行可能包括谋杀、入室盗窃、袭击或入室盗窃,但不包括扰乱秩序行为或涂鸦等罪行。
警方发言人说:“这些情况可能是不稳定的,我们强烈鼓励人们在参与之前首先报警。”
