1 恰似
天动凡心，雪来地上
那白，封山，也封人
玉蝶纷纷飞
阳光剪裁雪白，给阳春做件新衣
山水穿
还忆梅红血性
冬之寡淡，催春之浪漫
恰似“封山育林”，也育人
Just Like
The heaven has the heart of human being, so a snow falls on the ground
The white blocks mountains, also blocks people
Jade-like butterflies fly around one after another
Sunshine cuts snow white, and makes a new outfit for warm spring
Mountains and rivers wear it
and remember the tough character of red plum blossom
The insignificance of winter hastens the birth of romantic spring
Just like “sealing mountains to cultivate forests”, it also cultivates people
2 雷阵雨
雷霆来电，一块石头“卟通”跪下
银河系里有鱼吗？我的天
暴雨还与山洪通话
Thunderstorm
Thunder is lightning , a stone kneels down with a plop
Are there any fish in the Milky Way? Oh my goodness
Rainstorm is communicating with mountain torrents
3 数悟
找到了，终点是零
起点也是
零的前后呢？正负之“一”
各率大群增减
“无一”何解
有无不可信，自我少作妖
Understanding the Numbers
Found it, the endpoint is zero
So is the starting point
What about before and after zero? The number”one” stands for positive and negative
leading increase or decrease in each large group
What is the solution to “no one”
We cannot believe “have or don’t have”completely
and try to avoid making chaos
4 “一”非绝路
“一”非绝路，向两头延伸吧
那是破折号
不要密密麻麻的数字
剩下一个“0”，比沒有还少
给一换个姿势，踏月归家吧
明日早起
“One” Isn’t a Dead End
“One” is not a dead end, extending towards both ends
That’s a dash
Don’t need densely packed numbers
The only left number “0”, is less than none
Let’s give the number “zero” a new posture, just let it return home in the moon
and get up early tomorrow
5 社会进步了
过去，春晚是一台电视机
现在是手机和麻将桌
一支烟一壶酒一碗饭里长大的男人
围着灶前台后转的女人
忙里忙外，唯有老人没退休
年轻人在失业
社会进步了，人情与世故
苦乐分明
Society Has Progressed.
In the past, the Spring Festival Gala was a TV set.
Now people play cell phones and mahjong more.
A man grows up in a cigarette, a pot of wine and a bowl of rice
A woman turns around the dinning table and stove.
So busy for this and that, but the aged people are still working.
Young people don’t get a job.
Social makes progress,human feelings and social’s bitterness and pleasure
have distinct difference from before

6 血肉家门口
想想古人的面孔，会看见自己
观察花草的活法，站了站
抬手就摸到胸口
那是血肉的家门口
胸怀里是人间，四肢围成院子
The Once Bitter Home Door
Think about the faces of the ancients and then you can look into yourself.
Observing the living methods of flowers and plants, I stand for a while .
Then I can touch my chest when raising my hand.
That’s the door of flesh and blood
holding the human world in arms, and its limbs surround to form a yard.
7 土碗是泥巴做的
快快走来的人生，慢慢的慢了
多多吃饭的日子，少少的少了
一个人的活路，活着一碗饭
土碗是泥巴做的，太阳下
石头也被晒得邦硬
人微言说也轻了，小心看人脸色
迎风吹，等尘埃落定
The Earthen Bowl Is Made of Mud
The hurry coming life is eventually slowing down.
All the days you eat a lot of foods are fewer and fewer
A person’s life is depending on a bowl of rice.
The earthen bowl is made of mud,
Stones also have becoming hard in the sunlight
Words spoken by the unimportant person are too light
They watch people’s faces carefully.
facing the wind and waiting for the truth or outcome of a matter.

梦想长出理想，一定经历过
现实的考核
人总贪图名利，梦里如鲜花开放
不结果实
冥想盘中，天掉馅饼多是圈套
唯有务实，汗香才有味
Dream
If a dream grows into an ideal, it must have experienced
realistic assessment
A man is always greedy for fame and fortune, and his dream is like a flower, always blooming
but not realizing a goal
In a state of meditation , it’s a trap if the heaven drops pies down.
Only when you are pragmatic, the smell of sweat is delicious.
9 他不说出来
他不说出来，能见他的回忆吗
他的故事似影视，说出来
是已编导过的
别以为签字盖章比口说有凭
有钱买尊严，让权力分等级
不同的角色总有因
看得见的只是果
He Doesn’t Say It.
If he doesn’t say it, can we see his memories?
His story is like a movie
which has been choreographed when it is spoken out
Don’t think that signature and seal are more reliable than oral words.
Money can buy dignity and make power hierarchical.
Separated different roles always have a reason.
All you can see is only the result.

一小片天空的蔚蓝，落树上
是成群的叶绿
一大片麦田的葱绿，在天空眼中
是一小块葱蒜
白天的蓝色和夜晚的黑色
与人皮肤的黄色
调色天地人一幅油画
冷色
暖色
在岁月过程中，兼济食色

Day and Night on Earth
A small piece of blue sky becomes flocks of green leaves when it falls on trees.
The lush green of a large wheat field is only a small piece of land planted with onions or garlic in the eyes of the sky.
Blue during the day and black at night
and people’s yellow skin
toning the color of the sky, the earth, and human being to be a painting
Cool color
and warm color
nourishing mankind’s life and things beyond the life
诗人简介：李发模，男，1948年出生，汉族，中共党员，贵州省绥阳县人。1979年加入中国作家协会，1988年相继毕业于鲁迅文学院、北京大学作家班。曾任贵州省作家协会副主席、遵义市文联主席、中国诗歌学会常务理事。一级作家，著名诗人。已出版诗集、散文集共60余部作品，译为多国文字，获省级以上奖20余次。长诗《呼声》获中国首届诗歌奖，被前苏联作家叶甫图申科誉为＂中国新诗的里程碑”。是当前中国最有诗人气质和诗歌才情的作家之一。
About the Poet
Li Fa-mo, male, was born in 1948, Han ethnicity, a member of the Communist Party of China, from Suiyang County, Guizhou Province. He joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1979 and graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Literature and the Writers Class at Beijing University in 1988. Formerly he served as Vice Chairman of Guizhou Writers Association, Chairman of Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Zunyi City , and Executive Director of China Poetry Society. A first-class writer and famous poet. More than 60 books of poetry and prose have been published, some have been translated into many languages. He has won more than 20 provincial-level or above awards. His long poem “Call” won the First Session Poetry Award in China and was praised by former Soviet Union writer Ye Futushenke as a milestone in Chinese new poetry. Li Fa-mo is one of the most talented and poetic writers in China today.
译者简介：林巧儿，中英双语女诗人女词人，翻译家，两个文学团体（刊物）的英文编辑。她创作、评论或翻译中英文现代诗、中国传统格律诗词、散文、小说等，并在国内外报刊大量发表（出版），如《中华诗词》、《诗选刊》、《深圳日报》英文版、美国中英文报纸《海华都市报》等七十多家报刊。
Lina Moon, a bilingual poetess, translator and English editor of two literary groups (publications), mainly engages in literacy creation, criticism and translation. She has published a large number of Chinese and English modern poems and Chinese traditional metrical poems, essays, novels and so on at home and abroad ,such as Chinese Poetry and Verse, Journal of Selected Poems, Shenzhen Baily, Haihua Metropolis Daily in America, etc.
